
Amelia is a Canadian multimedia composer and songwriter. A 2020 graduate from the prestigious Screen Scoring Master's program at the University of Southern California, she also holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Amelia has worked in a variety of genres and media types including film, TV, and video games and most recently has worked & studied under Emmy-winning & Oscar-nominated composer Laura Karpman, contributing to major projects including The Marvels and Captain America: Brave New World, and the Academy Award–winning film American Fiction. In 2023, she was selected as one of eight emerging composers nationwide to participate in the SOCAN Screen Music Lab, an intensive collaborative program focused on rapid composition and live recording. Most recently, she co-scored Ask E Jean, which premiered at Telluride Film Festival in 2025.
Amelia's roots in songwriting pair well with her technical educational background, lending to her experimental voice and strong sense of melody.
