Amelia is a Canadian multimedia composer and songwriter. She is a 2020 graduate from the Screen Scoring Master's program at the University of Southern California & also holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 

Amelia has worked in composer Laura Karpman’s studio, contributing to major projects including The Marvels and Captain America, as well as the Academy Award–nominated film American Fiction. In 2023, she was selected as one of eight emerging composers across Canada to participate in the SOCAN Screen Music Lab, an intensive collaborative program focused on rapid composition and live recording.

 

Amelia's technical educational background paired with her roots in songwriting lend to her experimental voice and strong sense of melody present in her music.
